Yunxiang Sun is a Senior Biostatistician at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where he contributes to the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Data Dashboard project. His research focuses on drug shortages, global pharmaceutical trade, and supply chain vulnerabilities, with an interest in the intersection of trade policy and drug availability, as well as international health systems.

Yunxiang holds a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) in International Health from Johns Hopkins and earned his bachelor’s degree in Preventive Medicine and medical training in China. Yunxiang has experience working in Brazil, Canada, China and other locations, providing him with a global perspective on data systems, health policy, and cultural contexts.
